Most beautiful tunes of Mozart and Strauss

Following your tour of the palace's ceremonial rooms, the Schönbrunn Palace Orcehstra will take you on a journey to the world of Mozart and Strauss, accompanied by singing and dance - performed exclusively for you at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery.

In the first part of the concert, you will listen to some of the most marvelous overtures, arias and duets from the operas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. "Le Nozze di Figaro", "Die Zauberflöte" and "Don Giovanni" to name a few.

The most popular operetta arias, waltzes and polkas of the "Walzerkoenig" Johann Strauss - from "Die Fledermaus" and "Der Zigeunerbaron" to "Donauwalzer" and the famous "Radetzkymarsch" - comprise the second part.

The orchestra is accompanied by two opera singers, a soprano and a baritone.

After the concert, taxis will be available right outside Schönbrunn Palace Orangery. The subway runs until midnight in 5- to 8-minute-intervals.

On special occasions the Schönbrunn Palace Concerts take place in the Great Gallery, in the White Gold Room of Schloss Schönbrunn or at selected Viennese concert halls.
